About Jessica

I have always had a keen interest in health and wellbeing, especially the link between mind and body. In my early 20s I set out on a quest to heal my body (which was carrying trauma and chronic illness), experience peace and joy in the mind and learn how to forgive and accept where I found myself in each moment.

 

I was a single mum to two boys and could hardly take care of myself. It was frightening. I had grown up as a child carer and I knew I did not want to carry this pattern on for my children.

My health journey became a life long exploration into different therapy modalities, somatic body work and wellbeing in general. As well as gaining qualifications along the way, I discovered so much more from my own and others experiences. It was hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel and to even hope I would master my own strength of mind. When one has crippling anxiety for a long time, the body becomes to fatigued, it can be a struggle to face the world. After years of not giving up and empowering myself with the help and guidance of many wise healers and teachers, I am now in a place of health and strength of mind.

 

I have given birth to four beautiful children gaining different birth experiences with each and have attended two births, (one without any medical assistance available).

I have supported people with trauma and also on their transitioning journey toward death.

I hold many qualifications but feel it's more important for you to feel if I am the right person to help support you. I have found the best work is done when teacher/healer or therapist and client feel comfortable and safe which provides the connection needed for energy to shift and transform.

 

I offer over 25 years of my own health experience as well as developed intuition. 

I love empowering and encouraging women with their own tools to grow in to the wise woman they were born to be and to carry the torch on for others.

 The classes and therapies I offer are always woven with love and compassion and I encourage a gentle approach while moving safely beyond someones comfort zone where needed.

As a therapist I amalgamate my knowledge and experience to treat the individual circumstance and personality while helping to guide the client towards becoming the practitioner of themselves, thus empowering them to bring their own healing in to their life.

My aim is to always come from a place of gentle nurture and healing, teaching you tools to be used on your own journey toward self knowledge and wellbeing. I feel incredibly passionate about holding space for others to feel safe, open and curious in. I am qualified in all the work I do and am happy to talk through any approaches I use.

My Approach

I believe when the mind or/and the body is under any kind of stress, physically or emotionally, a gentle approach is necessary.

Our deepest need as beings is safety and love. These are the two foundational factors that I am always aware needs to be brought into the work I do.

It is important to me that you feel held in a safe space so you are able to drop in to true relaxation and healing. Each persons needs are unique and individual. My approach is to empower and help you learn to heal yourself while gently supporting and help guiding you along the way..
