Pregnancy Yoga

Pre-natal yoga (from 12 weeks gestation)

Nourishing, nurturing and inspiring support for women and their babies during pregnancy (from 12-weeks).

Prenatal Yoga is not just for the body. It offers invaluable tools that will help towards supporting your mental and emotional wellbeing as well as offer safe practical tools to prepare the mind and body for labour and motherhood.

Prenatal yoga is a beautiful way to connect with your baby, creating space for just the two of you.

The benefits of coming to a class are that you meet likeminded mothers to be, in a supportive environment specifically created for this practice.

Pregnancy can be a time of intense vulnerability as well as strength and empowerment and to navigate this time with support, relaxation techniques and shared discussion could be the difference between feeling alone and isolated or feeling you are being seen and heard with at least some of your needs being met and listened to.

Classes typically involve the exploration of breath, relaxation, sound, guided visualisation, strengthening postures, movement based pelvic floor work, birth preparation strategies and a time for shared discussion.

These classes are run every week through out term time and you are welcome to join any time after the 12 weeks gestational period. 

To ensure the class is viable we require a term committment.

If you would like to try the class before committing, a one off price of £10 is offered for a single class trial.

Drop in classes are offered after 36 weeks gestation and cost £12 per class.

Classes are intimate and small in a warm cosy space with all equipment provided for. 

I provide one or two spaces (depending on numbers) at a discounted rate for women on lower incomes who would still like to access the classes. This is not something to be embarrassed about and your place is confidential.

Absolutely loved the pregnancy yoga sessions with Jess.
Such a beautiful location and was extremely peaceful and relaxing coming out there each week. Being warm and cosy, stretching, breathing and looking out across the stunning view (particularly the days with snow on the mountains and sun shining through the window on to my face, magic).
Jess is a fab instructor and was great at offering options to everyone, so everyone felt capable with however they were feeling that week.
Jess went out of her way to offer me advice and help, when asked for, regarding my feelings around a matter in my pregnancy. She made me feel empowered and confident once again.
